Huntsham Court is a historic private hire country estate based in the Devon countryside. The venue features a Grade II listed manor house with luxurious gardens. Despite its setting in the rolling hills between Exmoor National Park and Somerset, it is only a 2-hour train ride from central London.
The iconic venue can host wedding parties of up to 130 guests, whilst also accommodating up to 92 people staying across 40 luxury bedrooms for large wedding parties, although accommodation is also available nearby.
As wedding videographers we love filming country house weddings which often provide an intimate setting for some truly memorable (and filmable!) celebrations. Huntsham Court publicise their 2-day weddings which really do make for incredible events with lots of opportunities for creating a cinematic-style wedding video.
The other great thing about country houses like Huntsham Court is the availability of both indoor and outdoor locations for getting shots of the couple and wedding party – we love the difference in lighting and ambience this allows for the video.
We were really happy with this video with the aerial shots showing the historic venue and beautiful countryside, with the speeches overlaid as audio. As well as capturing the love between the couple with some intimate shots, we think we also managed to capture the fun with shots of guests enjoying themselves throughout the day.
