True love always triumphs, and I get a first-hand look, whenever I cover a wedding. This time it was a wedding held at Euridge Orangery and the couple was the lovely Rachel and dashing Alex. The venue itself is something to behold – it is a spectacular manor situated on the edge of Castle Combe in the Cotswolds. It spans over a vast woodland, a magnificent valley, and a boating lake. Being a London wedding videographer I have been to many venues, but this is one of my favorites. It is the ideal spot for weddings, receptions, and accommodation after the event is over.
As wedding videographers, we enjoy capturing candid shotsduring the wedding. Starting from someone’s strappy heels coming undone, the bride getting ready with her friends who are constantly supporting her by giving compliments, to the groom picking out his watch. We try to cover the wedding in the most natural way possible.
Saying “I do”
The ceremony itself was glorious indeed! It was evident that the couple was thrilled to finally solidify their bond of love and both families get along well too. They opt to write their own vows, and within moments were officially married – the joy on their faces is what makes me love my job so much. The décor was stunning with lots of floral arrangements, candles, fancy lighting and elegant cutlery. My favourite moments are when they danced with each other as their love and adoration filters through. You can see their friends and family happily joining in the celebrations and dancing away. Everyone had a blast jiving to the foot tapping music. The couple’s faces lit up to have their loved ones with them on their special day, which is exactly what they wished for.
