When Catarina and Fabian contacted us we were immediately thrilled; and nervous as well! We knew this was going to be a huge project for us to undertaken. Everything had to work perfectly smoothly, almost like clockwork. And now we can be sure that we are glad we made it. Otherwise, this amazing and ambitious video wouldn’t be the beautiful piece of film it is today.
The first contact we got from them was pretty exciting. Catarina is from Brazil, so we immediately expected exuberant beauty; Fabian is from Argentina, therefore we immediately thought about passionate guests and extremely compelling moments. They both are currently living in New York City, and if all that isn’t exciting enough for you, they had the wish to marry in Mallorca, Spain.
Alright, so we expected some really passionate moments and reactions since we met the couple via video call. Both are from Latin America, a famous region for expressing deep emotions in the most notorious ways; so we were absolutely moved just with the idea. But we weren’t totally prepared for the real thing. Don’t get us wrong, filmwise, we knew everything was going to run smoothly; but we must recognize that we were totally blown away with the vibe within this wedding film.
We are firm believers that the Dress is a character of its own; and we always try our best in every wedding video to make it feel like it is indeed. Catarina’s dress was exquisite, the light of Son Termens was so generous that we had to do very little in order to capture its texture and beautiful details. Catarina also wore a pair of beautifully matching shoes, which have some very special moments in the film…..
Such kind words can only come from people that truly loves the couples, and travelling all the way from Argentina, Brazil and New York to Spain, is a tangible proof of love and friendship by itself. We want to give a special cheer to Catarina and Fabian for having such exceptional close people in their lives.
Mallorca has a notoriously charming Mediterranean look, and a very subtle light, so we had to do something special about it.
The best way to do it is with drone footage of course. We are currently mastering the art of aerial shots made with drones, which allow us to capture everything in a way that was impossible just a few years ago.
Such beautiful sharing of words from both Fabian and Catarina had to have a special place in our video. They both were so sparkling happy that they couldn’t resist to make some jokes about their tears.
