Château de Tourreau
Cinematic weddings in one of Provence’s most quietly powerful estates
We have filmed several complete three-day weddings at Château de Tourreau. This page contains our direct observations — from the quality of light to the practical logistics of moving across a full weekend.

Why Château de Tourreau Works So Well for Filming
The estate has a rare combination of architectural restraint and generous space. The limestone responds beautifully to light throughout the day, especially from mid-afternoon onward. The formal gardens provide strong lines for composition, while the surrounding open landscape offers excellent conditions for drone work.
Because the property is fully exclusive during rentals, we can move freely and discreetly across multiple days — something that significantly improves the quality of the final film.
Best Ceremony Locations
Capacity: ~70 guests. Intimate and acoustically warm with beautiful late afternoon light.
Open, elegant and versatile. Works well for both intimate and larger ceremonies.
Strong architectural lines. Excellent for processions and wide cinematic shots.
Planning Tips from Our Experience
Late afternoon light (from ~16:30) on the limestone is exceptional. We often recommend scheduling key moments between 16:30–18:30.
The open areas can be breezy. We always prepare backup audio plans with the couple and planner in advance.
Allow 30–40 minutes from Avignon TGV. We recommend building in buffer time on ceremony day.
We protect time on day three for slower, intimate sequences. These often become some of the most emotional parts of the film.
Why We Love Filming Multi-Day Weddings Here
Château de Tourreau is one of the estates where the three-day format truly shines. Guests stay on site, the rhythm slows down, and we have space to capture the in-between moments that rarely appear in single-day films.
