Sun-drenched vows beneath an open sky. An extraordinary floral arch. A garden full of people who love them. And an evening that ended with a ceilidh band in full flight on the dance floor, every guest dancing, the old house glowing warm against the summer night. It was genuinely wonderful to film.

Hedsor House — The Setting

Hedsor House sits in the Buckinghamshire countryside just outside London — a Georgian country house of genuine elegance and warmth, set in beautifully maintained grounds with views across the Thames Valley. It is exclusive use, celebrity-favoured, and one of the most consistently beautiful venues we film at anywhere in the Home Counties. The combination of the grand staircase, the light-filled rooms, and the expansive garden grounds gives every wedding filmed here a visual richness and variety that very few venues can match.

For a summer wedding in particular, Hedsor House offers something completely exceptional — the quality of light across those gardens in July and August is simply extraordinary, and the scale of the grounds gives us freedom to work across the full estate throughout the day, finding light and finding moments in a way that produces footage of genuine depth and warmth.

The Ceremony — Vows Under the Summer Sky

Kate and Lewis exchanged their vows in the grounds of Hedsor House — guests seated on the lawn, the warm July light falling across the whole scene, the manicured gardens stretching away on every side. The ceremony was filled with genuine emotion, laughter, and the particular quality of joy that comes from a couple who are completely themselves on their wedding day — not performing, not directing, just entirely present with each other in a beautiful place.

The floral arch created by Lavender Green Flowers — soft whites and gentle greens — framed the ceremony with extraordinary beauty. Every detail of the day was thoughtfully coordinated by luxury wedding planner Hannah Hope Events, ensuring a seamless and deeply personal celebration from morning through to the very end of the evening.

The Details — Florals, Styling & Personal Touches

The styling across the day was beautifully considered — every element in visual conversation with every other, the whole thing adding up to something that felt genuinely elegant and completely personal. The stationery by Millie Stone gave the day a distinctive visual language from the very beginning. The lighting and production by Glo Productions transformed the Hedsor interiors as the evening progressed — warm, directional, and beautifully suited to the mood of the celebration. The cake by Cake Lady Abi was a work of genuine artistry and a centrepiece that drew every eye at the reception.

Kate’s look was coordinated by Dawn Artists — makeup by Kelly Dawn and Glo by Fran, hair by Victoria Ralph — flawless and completely natural in the way that films beautifully across a full summer day. Catering by RHC — Rhubarb Hospitality Collection was exceptional — the quality of the food and service was a genuine highlight for guests across the entire day. Photography by Roberta Facchini Photography was beautiful — her fine art approach and quiet sensitivity to moments complemented our filming approach perfectly throughout the day.

The Evening — Celtic Flair & Dancing Until Late

The evening at Hedsor House built beautifully — cocktails in the golden hour light of the estate gardens, dinner as the light faded and the house began to glow warm and amber, and then the full release of the dancing as the night settled in properly. Kate and Lewis had planned a surprise for their guests — a ceilidh band that completely transformed the atmosphere of the evening. Ceilidh Twist took over the dance floor and did not let it go for the rest of the night.

The energy of a ceilidh — the calling of the dances, the particular joy of structured group dancing, guests of every age and ability drawn in and moving together — produces some of the most genuinely joyful footage we make at any wedding. By the time Sensation Band took over for the later part of the evening, the room was already entirely given over to the celebration — and the footage from those final hours of dancing has an energy and warmth that we return to with real affection. Halo Strings provided the elegant accompaniment earlier in the evening — their sound in the Hedsor rooms was genuinely beautiful.
