As London wedding videographers, filming close to home at one of the city’s most extraordinary venues felt like a real privilege. The Ned — the former Midland Bank building on Poultry in the City of London, designed by Edwin Lutyens and now one of the most dramatic and beautiful event spaces in the capital — provided the perfect canvas for their love story.

The Ned — The Setting

The Ned is one of London’s most extraordinary and architecturally significant wedding venues — a former Midland Bank building on Poultry in the City of London, designed by Edwin Lutyens and completed in 1924, with a banking hall of genuinely incomparable grandeur and dramatic architectural character. Its combination of historic grandeur, extraordinary interior spaces, and the particular quality of the directional light that moves through the banking hall gives footage made here a richness and atmospheric depth that is entirely distinctive and unlike any other London venue we film at.
