“My husband and I just got our wedding videos back from HD moments… About 30 seconds into the first video… we were already crying! The videos were BEYOND amazing! The quality, how they captured all the small details of the wedding day. The music they picked to go with the videos was perfect. The shorter video truly looks like a trailer from a movie. I could watch these videos over and over! It really makes you relive the day by watching the videos they created! THANK YOU HD MOMENTS!!! Not only were the videos beyond anything I could have ever asked for, Justina and her husband were so lovely to work with! We got married in Italy and we asked them to travel from London to capture our day because we just loved their work! They always responded so quickly to my questions. They were so sweet when we met them in person, the day of the wedding! They made us both feel so comfortable in front of the cameras. I really can’t say enough good things about them! If you’re thinking of hiring them for your wedding – do it. You won’t regret it for a second!! Now… I have to figure out what other big event I could have so that I can get them to shoot that too! “
We love filming destination weddings, especially when they are planned to happen in Italy. But being able to make a wedding video in Tuscany, that’s a whole different experience. Everything is perfect, from the light, the colours and the smells (that can’t be captured with a camera yet). But what we find even more alluring is the indescribable feeling of dwelling in a place that appears to have cheated time. Tuscany pretty much equals to romance and love, so how could we enhance that? That was the challenge, making a place so beautiful even more pleasing to watch. Join us in this love story portrayed by Simone and Etai, a young couple with the world waiting for them!
Tuscany Wedding Videography
They knew all along that Tuscany was going to be their wedding place, but everything there is perfect. Picking anything out of perfection is one of the most overwhelming tasks in the world, but finally they decided for a stunning venue in Poppi, the Borgo Corsignano. This venue is now a beautiful hotel, but back in the medieval times, it was the home of some Camaldoli monks. The place is gorgeous and is filled with small stone houses all over the place. Truly spectacular views all around! Oh boy, the storms where near, and we were prepared for them. No bride wants rain on their wedding day, but it is always a possibility, especially when undertaken outdoors. As wedding videographers we know that rain can give the video an even more soothing light, but it was still a challenge to make it happen in a magical way.
Jewish Traditions
Every wedding is unique and is always a highly emotional event. We love filming weddings of any size, but there is something about small and intimate weddings that make us emotional. With smaller weddings, there is almost not a single meaningful moment that manages to escape our beady eyes. This is harder to achieve with larger weddings.
Also, there is an obvious thing going on in small and intimate weddings, attendants are only the closest of the closest. From friends and family, just a handful of people needs to be in this magnificent moment of a couple, and that’s what we like about small crowded weddings.
We have seen plenty of weddings and we have coped with several cultures (not enough, but surely plenty) by now. Each culture has its own thing, and Jewish celebrations are a little bit more quiet and hushed than others.
This soothing aura combined perfectly with the quiet rain falling around us during the wedding. As in Etai’s vows, “it is hard to put it into words”, but it was definitely a magical feeling about that. Oh, and add in the medieval architecture surrounding us. Jeez, that was fantastic!
Supportive and Well-intended Vows
Speaking of the vows, we couldn’t help but smile while we were both listening and filming them. Personally speaking, I must say, this is one of my favourite parts of all weddings. No couple in the world so far has proven my point wrong, and none has ever disappointed me. In fact, I enjoy this part more than the “you may kiss the bride” moment, because everyone is actually listening and holding their tears down. About Etai’s and Simone’s vows, wow, there was an obvious friendship involved here. You can feel that when the vows revolve around a mantra of letting the significant other be and wishing nothing more than simple the best for them.
