We’ve said this before and we are glad to say it again, we love doing weddings abroad, but it is nice to be back home and just do a beautiful wedding video in our beloved London. Taylor-Jayne and JJ contacted us with a nearly-short notice, but we were more than happy to agree filming their wedding after meeting the two. The Moody Light from Farm Street Church
As local Londoners we knew how light happens to enter magnificently through the stained glass windows from Farm Street Church. Capturing it however is quite tricky, but we knew exactly which tools we needed in order to make the most out of it. The church itself became a character more than just a great looking stage, and we are sure that TJ & JJ will find it nice and cozy as the have felt it during their whole lives.
There is nothing like Claridge’s Hotel wedding
Claridge’s Hotel wedding witnessed a cheerful vibe during that day, and we hope that we have captured everything in the right way. We couldn’t help to become part of the party, so we are sure that this was one hell of a party. We took the liberty of exploring our creative and artistic needs, and enhanced the moments with some simple yet poetic silhouettes of TJ & JJ that even seem to be synced together. Dress and Ring
The major characters in a wedding after the newlyweds are of course the wedding dress and the engagement ring. Or at least for us wedding videographers with a background in wedding photography these are visual musts. The texture in that endless and elegant dress was hypnotizing, and the beautiful round cut ring was craving for a clean macro shot, so we had the time of our lives while filming all of these wedding visual goodies that we love so much! Those words were really honest from JJ’s father, we truly felt them, and it taught us a deep lesson about weddings, and specifically about our culture. Families expand for real after weddings, and we are sure that TJ has now also a friend in her life.
The Importance of the Guests
Finally we love working with small weddings, and this was quite larger than the number of people we like to work with. The main (useful) reason why is because we never leave someone behind, but the real reason is because we are sure that weddings should be packed only with people that truly love and care for the newlyweds. Even though this was a large wedding in our perspective, we felt that everyone there had a real purpose, everyone was really happy for these two, and everything felt right and true. Congratulations on having such wonderful people surrounding you.
