Villa Pizzo

Lake Como · Italy
London husband-and-wife filmmakers for Villa Pizzo, Balbiano and Bonomi weekends. Boat arrivals, loggias, blue hour — watch the films first.

Real weekends on the water. Tap a still to watch — same two filmmakers throughout.
How we work here
We treat the dock like an aisle — one camera on stone, one already on the water when the brief needs it. Como evenings go blue fast; we grade for warm rooms, not the postcard.

Venues we have filmed
Three estates we know from the day — light, guest flow and where the quiet moments actually happen.
Cernobbio · west shore
Best for · Fairytale lakeside beauty
Terraced gardens, waterfront ceremony space and floating platforms. Soft light on the water, boats arriving — warm, intimate frames that still feel grand.
Up to ~150 guests · MXP ~45 min
Ossuccio · west shore
Best for · Grand baroque architecture
16th-century palazzo, opulent interiors and lakeside gardens. Statement editorial days where the architecture is part of the story — exclusive use, intimate guest counts.
Typically up to ~80 · MXP ~1 hour
Lezzeno · east shore
Best for · Intimate panoramic views
Elevated historic villa above the lake. Privacy, terrace golden hour and a scale that suits smaller destination guest lists — we filmed Shelby & Mackenzie here.
Typically up to ~60 · MXP ~1h 15
Also on the shortlist
Renaissance palace turned five-star hotel — formal gardens, lakeside terraces, flawless service for large weekend guest lists.
Dramatic stone terraces and iconic lake views. Ceremony-led location — unmatched backdrop, usually paired with a separate reception house.
Grand lakefront gardens and historic scale for larger international celebrations where guest numbers and visual impact lead.
From the UK
Malpensa (MXP) is the default. Transfers planned around guest boats and ceremony timing — not only the aisle hour.
Boat arrivals, floating platforms and terrace wind need a call sheet. We mark dock and loggia positions the day before when travel allows.
Welcome dinner → wedding day → brunch covered as one continuous film — same two people throughout.
Destination coverage scoped in writing after we see your date and villa. No public price list on this page.
FAQ
Villa Pizzo for lakeside warmth and floating ceremonies. Villa Balbiano for grand baroque architecture and editorial elegance. Villa Bonomi for intimacy and panoramic privacy. Villa del Balbianello for the most dramatic ceremony terrace on the lake.
Yes — we have first-hand filming experience at Villa Pizzo, Villa Balbiano and Villa Bonomi. We also advise on Villa D’Este, Balbianello and Erba from a filming perspective. Send the house and dates and we will be honest about how your day would look on film.
Milan Malpensa (MXP) is the usual entry — about 45 minutes to 1 hour 15 from most villas. Multiple daily London flights. Linate and Bergamo can work depending on shore and guest plan.
Late May, June and September give the best light and calmer lake days. Peak July–August works, but we schedule outdoor ceremonies early or after 5pm when heat and crowds rise.
Many estates support civil ceremonies; international paperwork usually needs 6–12 months. Plenty of UK couples keep the legal ceremony at home and host a celebrant-led day on the lake — confirm early with your planner and the local registry.
