Its villa, Medici Villa “La Ferdinanda,” makes a spectacular backdrop for a wedding set in Italy. For Vigneshwar and Divya, the Tenuta di Artiminio was the ideal location to celebrate their love. They knew they wanted to combine Hindu traditions with other traditional wedding events throughout the weekend, bringing their guests a destination wedding to remember.

They used Emily & Jo’s stationery to set the stage with elegant invitations, and photographer Chandan Sojitra joined us in documenting the occasion. The couple was grateful to lean on the support of Matthew Oliver’s International Wedding Planners, who we’ve had the pleasure of working with a number of times. Between the backdrop of green hills and the vibrant, bold colours of traditional Hindu garb. We will never forget how beautiful it was to be a part of this warm and loving celebration. On the first day, after two morning ceremonies and the rehearsal dinner, the evening was filled with henna, dancing, and a lot of laughter.
A November Hindu Wedding in Tuscany
On the Saturday morning, while the bridal party was getting ready, a peaceful fog filled the horizon. We were worried at first, but soon the fog lifted. During the ceremony outside we had the most wonderful sunshine. Tuscany Flowers did an incredible job of decorating. After the ceremonies, Saturday night was a black-tie affair, with a drink reception, dinner, and heartwarming speeches from the bridal party. DJ Kabir brought a fun atmosphere and everyone spent the evening dancing. Finally we could tell right away that Vigneshwar and Divya have the sweetest love. Our clients wedding was a celebration we will always remember, and we are so grateful to have been a part of it all.
