You might have witnessed a plethora of fairytale weddings, but Rhea and Pravin’s magical Indian wedding will leave you completely in awe. The lovely couple decided to celebrate their union with an outdoor Mandap last year in August. The elegant wedding celebrations lasted for three days. From an amazing henna night conducted at The Restaurant, Bombay Brasserie to a civil ceremony commemorated in The Four Seasons Hampshire followed by an intimate Haldi ceremony – everything was purely magical.
Firstly all three days were filled with lots of love, waves of laughter, dances, lovely traditions and wholesome speeches. Let us assure you; Hindu weddings are full of vibrant traditions, lots of fun, and culture-rich festive celebrations.
Rhea and Parvin made sure to include and celebrate all the cultural aspects of their wedding.
Rhea looked exquisitely beautiful in her embroidered lehenga choli. The three-piece attire exuded pure royalty. The Indian bride wore stunning jewellery, bangles (chooriyan), and an intricate amber necklace to compliment her dress. The soft-hued pastel coloured anarkali lehenga, adorned with heavy traditional embroidery, added the perfect Indian flair to her big day. However , Parvin made a statement with his stunning sherwani and a headdress (sehra). You will be mesmerised by the class of this stunning Indian couple.
To celebrate the beginning of their new life, the love birds hosted an amazing henna night at the enchanting restaurant Bombay Brasserie located in London. Over 300 guests attended the wedding and joined in the celebrations.
What an iconic night!
The intricate Mehndi pattern on Rhea’s hands looked stunning! Therefore we are absolutely in love with this Mehndi ceremony. The guests and bridesmaids performed traditional dances, sung love songs and women applied henna on their hands to celebrate the transition towards the next chapter. Indian weddings have a tradition of hosting henna nights where Mehndi is applied on the bride’s hands and lots of sweets, delicious foods, and beverages are being served to guests to begin the nuptial celebrations. The best part? Above all this night also hosts a sangeet where everyone sings their hearts out. After the henna night, the Dulhan (Rhea) and Dulha (Parvin) went on with their close friends to a nearby club for some extra party and to create wholesome lifelong memories.
The luxurious Four Seasons Hampshire hosted civil ceremony for the couple.
Secondly Rhea in her modern classy white bridal dress looked ethereal while waiting for the love of her life. The lovely couple exchanged their vows and nuptial garlands in the luxurious hotel surrounded by breathtaking scenic views. Following, they hosted an alfresco dinner under the stars till late evening. The epic day came to an end with a party composed of “mirror dances” to entertain the guests. Head to the video right now to see this! We bet you don’t want to miss this unique tradition. The ceremony and wholesome speeches made by Rhea and Parvin’s close friends filled everyone’s hearts with love. The whole day was filled with a plethora of heartfelt emotions and special sentiments.
The third day was also hosted at the Four Seasons Hampshire Hotel and it started with a small and intimate Haldi ceremony for our gorgeous Indian bride, Rhea. This is a traditional ritual bath where married women apply Haldi on the bride as an adorable gesture to bless the newlywed couple.
After that the Barat started, it really made a stunning unique entry in a rickshaw, a traditional Indian vehicle, adorned with beautiful floral garlands.
The joy, happiness and merriment radiated from their smiles and beautiful dances.
Finally this Indian wedding has it all outdoor Mandap, three day galore and wholesome culturally rich traditions is definitely one-of-a-kind. As Indian wedding videographers, we love to capture these lovely events filled with lots of dances, traditions, intricate Mehndi designs, Band-baja, vibrant celebrations and beautiful venues.
