If you’re searching for the quintessential countryside venue for your micro-wedding in the UK, look no further than Euridge House and Orangery. Euridge House sits within the Cotswolds rolling hills of Castle Combe and boasts 450 acres of rose gardens, evergreen palm trees, and even a boathouse. The best part about Euridge? The team is no stranger to coordinating a safe, intimate gathering for those who have had to change their original wedding plans due to Covid.

Planning a last-minute, micro wedding

Bride and groom Eloise and Michael had planned a Tuscan wedding this year. But with the onset of travel restrictions, they needed to postpone their original reception. They knew they wanted to get married this year. Even if it meant they’d needed to be closer to home and have a smaller, more intimate gathering. From announcing their postponement to planning all the details for the new wedding, it was an emotional roller coaster for Eloise and Michael. With only 12 weeks to plan, they were grateful to have Jennifer Louise Weddings by their side to ensure a smooth and successful day.

On a breezy, sunny day in August, Eloise and Michael celebrated their wedding day with a small group of their closest friends and family. At the ceremony, their two dogs were there to celebrate, with adorable bandanas and wagging tails. Afterward, they all gathered around an alfresco king’s table beneath flowing roses and vines. Ruth Davis at All Love for London created a stunning archway leading to the beautiful dining experience for Eloise and Michael’s guests. A intimate wedding to remember

During the reception, in true 2020 fashion, a rainstorm started to form. Soon enough, the guests had to run for shelter during their meal, hiding from the downpour. But rain didn’t stop the wedding party from laughing and having a good time (after the year we’ve all had, what’s a little rain? 🙂 ). Dinner was followed by dancing and fireworks. As the couple had their first dance, guests waved sparklers, creating a warm and fun twist. We were honored to be a part of their special day.

“From the speeches, readings, and vows, HD Moments translated this all into the story of ‘us’ in a way we never could imagine possible.”

“I cannot express how truly grateful we are that we took the plunge and included videography in our wedding day.” Eloise shared. “Not only did HD moments capture the feel of our day, but every detail that we had included was captured so so beautifully. More than that, they captured our story. “ Eloise and Michael might not have gotten their dream wedding in Tuscany this year, but they’re so grateful for the opportunity to start their married life together now. Even with all the last-minute planning, their wedding still turned out to be a magical day.
