Syon House is the London home of the Duke of Northumberland, a ducal house and park on the Thames in west London. It’s a country-house wedding without the country-house drive.
We’re Justina & Greg, husband-and-wife wedding videographers based in London. We film Syon weddings the way we film every wedding: romantic, moving, a little bit funny, and made to last.
Filming at Syon House
Syon House was built in the sixteenth century on the site of the medieval Syon Abbey, and came to the family of the present owners in 1594. Its interiors were remodelled by Robert Adam, and the house has long been a place for celebrations: the 9th Earl entertained James I in the Inner Courtyard.
For a film, that history means texture: classical interiors, long sightlines, a stone courtyard and parkland that changes with every season. It means a wedding that looks timeless without trying.
The spaces we film
- The Great Hall. A classical ceremony room with a black and white marble floor. We make sure we capture every word of your vows cleanly.
- The State Dining Room. Robert Adam’s room for entertaining, still used for celebrations today.
- The Inner Courtyard. Ideal for drinks after the ceremony, and the moment everyone finally exhales.
- The Great Conservatory. A glass-domed landmark in the gardens and a striking setting for ceremonies, dinners and evening celebrations.
