Sina and Manuel have a style of their own, they care for each other and their get along like no one else. They contacted us with a huge amount of time in advance, which enabled us to work around a concept based on mute colors and a dreamy look. We think that the key for a successful wedding is to make things in advance, and as long as they are kept small and intimate, the moments hardly ever escape from our ever-seeing cameras.
I remember that Sina was pretty nervous because she was looking for a local Mallorca wedding videographer. They did find a couple of good ones, but Hdmoments had the looks they were both searching for. Manuel wasn’t sure about working with a destination wedding videographer, thankfully many other couples in the past have trusted us with their destination weddings, and the key for them to feel safe is that this wouldn’t be our first Mallorca wedding. Our wedding videography portfolio is our most valuable asset.
We’d heard of this place in Mallorca before from colleagues and wedding magazines, but this was our first time actually in the place, and there are some things that must be shared.
Perhaps the most famous feature from the mallorca wedding hotel is the view one gets of the Mediterranean Sea.
The hotel is located near a cliff, making it a gorgeous mallorca wedding hotel. The rich mixture between Mallorcan architecture with a splash of modern design makes it a unique place, and it helped us a lot during the wedding. The place is a character itself, enabling the light to play with the newly-weds and the guests in one of the most spectacular forms we’ve witnessed in a wedding so far.
Germanic culture is quite famous for being quite sober, and this wasn’t the exception. Everything was well organized and unraveled itself as it should have been. As the big day came closer and closer, we started noticing some real-wedding-excitement, and we knew that this was going to be a great wedding. The speeches were really moving, and even when we only know a pinch of German we were there for capturing the things that were emotional for us.
True emotions and body expressions know no language barrier, and we were extremely excited of documenting everything with our lenses. Friends and family welcomed both Sina and Manu to their families as new official members of each one. When the party arrived, everything turned out pretty Mediterranean and cultural barriers where pretty hard to define. We are sure that everyone had a blast during the reception and the party.
We tried to keep everything within the “Mallorcan Style” that Sina wanted.
She told us everything she wanted, and from that point we thought about lenses, locations, lighting conditions and of course, color editing for the wedding to look as gorgeous as they both dreamed it.
We always try to work every single wedding video we make with a concept since we don’t like improvising too much on the big day. We can get creative sometimes of course, that is one of the best rewards of our job, but everything happens better when there is a concept and a solid planning behind each of our wedding videos.
Nobody wants to have rain on their wedding day, especially when there is a beautiful outdoor setting waiting for the newlyweds and the guests to have a great time. All of the sudden stormy wedding conditions started forming over the island. The colors got even more beautiful and the presence of black umbrellas gave this wedding a dramatic twist, but we most say, we were both nervous and thrilled. Thankfully enough, the wind swept the storm away.
