Filming a wedding at the Ned London has long been a long desired milestone; and it has finally happened for us. Our passion for weddings begun here in London and as soon as we got a call from Giorgie and Lewis’ wedding planner we got excited in a very nostalgic way. After all, it is nice to work close to our home. Don’t get us wrong, we love filming destination weddings, but it felt nice to actually be the London wedding videographers that we are.
When we got the call Giorgie and Lewis they had already handpicked us due to our dreamy style and cinematographic feeling and that’s exactly what we delivered to them in the final wedding video. They had some simple yet fun ideas that fitted perfectly with that nostalgic awe that we were all excited about working a wedding at The Ned Hotel. This wedding excelled at achieving the English way of doing things. And we couldn’t be happier of being the ones behind this magnificent and emotional video. As wedding videographers we love to work in romantic destinations often depicted in wedding magazines. But working close to home is always a rewarding experience.
An Already Consecrated Family
Working with an already built family is a different experience, and it really feels nice to see how good these families get along. Giorgie and Lewis have two beautiful children that made the whole wedding quite an event. Everything flows just naturally, and you can feel that in every single frame of their dream wedding video. In all these years working as wedding videographers we’ve seen it all. From highly sober couples to the most outrageous events. Giorgie and Lewis’ wedding was more of a charming and intimate wedding filled with some really high style.
Our first encounter with Giorgie and Lewis was thanks to their amazing wedding planner with whom we have worked in the past. Right from the beginning we felt that this wedding was going to be different than any other wedding we have filmed with our cameras. Some years have gotten by, and as a family they know how to handle stuff in a better way. In other words, they enjoyed the whole wedding process in quite a unique way.
The Indoors Can Be Amazing
Outdoorsy weddings have gorgeous and very generous lighting situations for sure and we love them. But indoor weddings always have that dramatic feeling we remember back from our days as wedding photographers when all this amazing projects were just about to sprout. The light inside of the Ned hotel wedding was a beautiful challenge only passionate videographers would understand. Everything looks different when being bathed by subtle amounts of light. Giving the whole love story a different flavor we are sure Giorgie and Lewis will love.
Can We Speak About the Dress for a Sec?
Wedding dresses are always masterpieces of high couture, but Giorgie’s dress was unique thanks to the way it blended with the light. The veil appears to be a beam of subtle light wandering around the corners of our final video edition. It’s almost hypnotizing in a way. And speaking of the dress, all the decoration was a beautiful splash of color in the reception. Giorgie and Lewis had this simple request of having some footage on the streets, and how could we resist to such a noble request? We had a great time, and people cheered them like if they knew them, it was just fantastic! In the words of Giorgie’s father, she looked absolutely stunning on her big day.
Emotional as True Love
Every wedding is highly emotional of course, but this one had quite a special embedded aura since everybody was extremely confident about their love. After seeing so many wonderful and emotional weddings, one develops a special instinct. From the preparations to the party, and from the speeches to the vows, everything was like reading a catchy piece of literature.
Finally, we are sure that we will eventually stumble into the four of you (if the pack hasn’t gotten any bigger) and we will be seeing the exact loving couple we witnessed during that fantastic day.
