Château de Robernier is a 17th-century château set in the Var department of Provence, surrounded by vineyards, olive groves, and panoramic views across the rolling Provençal hills. It combines the grandeur of a historic French estate with the warmth and intimacy that makes guests feel immediately at ease — a combination that produces some of the most genuinely emotional and beautiful footage we make anywhere in France.

We know Château de Robernier intimately — the quality of late afternoon light across the lavender terraces, the best positions for the ceremony, the drone paths over the olive groves and château roof. That knowledge is invisible in the final film but entirely responsible for its warmth and consistency.

The Ceremony — Timeless Elegance & Emotion

The ceremony took place outdoors — framed by elegant floral décor, ancient olive trees, and the soft golden light of a Provence summer afternoon. Alexa walked down the aisle in a stunning pearl-white gown with a graceful v-neckline, her father proudly at her side. Every guest fell silent as she approached. Alex’s expression said everything that words couldn’t.

The gown’s silhouette was beautifully proportioned for the scale of the outdoor ceremony space — present and confident in wide shots, with exquisite detail that rewarded every close-up. Together, Alexa and Alex were the picture of modern Provençal romance — and every frame they were in reflected it.

The Mediterranean breeze, the golden light across the château façade, and the heartfelt vows made this ceremony feel like exactly what it was — a genuinely extraordinary moment between two people who love each other completely.

What made Alexa and Alex’s wedding truly unforgettable were the deeply personal moments woven through every part of the day — the kind that no amount of styling or planning can manufacture, and that a filming team simply has to be present and attentive enough to capture.

One of the most moving moments of the entire weekend came when Alexa’s mother read a heartfelt letter she had written for her daughter — filled with love, memories, and the quiet wisdom that only a mother can offer. The room fell completely still. A family friend then surprised the couple with a poem written especially for them — a beautiful gesture that brought tears to everyone present.

Before the ceremony, Alexa and Alex exchanged thoughtful gifts. Alex presented Alexa with a delicate Cartier bracelet — a timeless symbol of love that she wore throughout the day. Alexa surprised him with elegant engraved cufflinks that perfectly matched his refined style. These are the details that live in a wedding film long after the day itself has passed.

The Reception — Dinner, Dancing & Under the Stars

The outdoor reception was filled with laughter, music, and the kind of uninhibited joy that only comes when the right people are together in an extraordinary place. Guests sang along, waving napkins in celebration — one of the most joyful and spontaneous moments we have captured at this venue. Wildfire DJs kept the atmosphere alive throughout dinner and dancing, reading the energy of the room perfectly and building to a close that left nobody wanting the evening to end.

After their romantic first dance, Alexa changed into an elegant Halfpenny London gown — a beautiful second look that was perfectly calibrated for dancing, relaxed and chic simultaneously. The footage from the evening in the second gown has a different energy to the ceremony — lighter, more joyful, completely unguarded — and it gives the final film a beautiful sense of progression and movement.
