Naomi and Jordan’s wedding at Ashridge House is one of those celebrations that stays with you long after the editing is done. The emotions were raw from the first moment — the groom’s reaction as Naomi walked down the aisle, shared visibly by his brothers, was one of the most genuinely moving things we have captured at any wedding. And the setting — 190 acres of private Hertfordshire grounds, a Grand Hall of genuine historic grandeur, and a Victorian Fernery unlike anything else in England — gave everything that happened that day a beauty and depth that was simply extraordinary to film.

It is one of the most architecturally extraordinary wedding venues in England, with a Grand Hall of genuine historic grandeur, an elegant South Terrace overlooking the grounds, and a Victorian Fernery of completely distinctive beauty. The Ceremony — Raw Emotion in the Grand Hall
We first connected with Naomi and Jordan in 2020 — they were drawn to our warm and unobtrusive approach to filming, and reserved their date early. When the day finally arrived, everything we had hoped it would be was there in full — and more.
From the moment Naomi walked down the aisle, the emotions in the room were completely raw. The groom’s reaction — the particular quality of a person completely overwhelmed by the sight of the person they love — was one of those moments that we have returned to many times since. His brothers shared it visibly. The guests felt it entirely. The ceremony was intimate, deeply heartfelt, and genuinely moving — the kind of moment we film weddings to capture.
The Details — Gown, Florals & Personal Touches
Naomi wore a pearl-white gown from Berta — beautifully made, with delicate lace detailing that was perfectly suited to the historic grandeur of Ashridge House. Jordan wore a classic black tuxedo — together they brought a quality of contemporary elegance to the setting that was completely their own.
What made this wedding particularly special was Naomi’s dedication to planning every detail herself — supporting local small businesses and creating a celebration that reflected their story with complete authenticity. The florals by Dried & Tied Flowers and Early Hours Ltd were beautiful — romantic, textured, and entirely in keeping with the Gothic Revival character of the venue. Hair by Carly Williams with accessories from Victoria Louise Accessories, and makeup by Krystal Dawn MUA — flawless throughout and filmed beautifully in Ashridge’s extraordinary natural interior light. The cake by Hall of Cakes was a work of genuine artistry. Stationery by Rose Signage Co gave the whole day a beautiful and consistent visual language from the first moment to the last.
The celebration was featured in OK! Magazine the following week — a reflection of just how beautifully the whole day came together.
“Naomi planned every detail of this wedding herself — and it showed in the most extraordinary way. Every element felt personal, considered, and completely genuine. It was one of the most authentically beautiful celebrations we have ever filmed.”

The Evening — First Dance & Celebration
The piano throughout the day was provided by @okiemofficial — warm, elegant, and perfectly suited to the atmosphere of Ashridge House. The evening came alive with DJ and sax from DJ Joe Lang and CJ Sax — a combination that kept the energy building beautifully from cocktail hour through to late in the evening.
But the standout moment of the evening — the moment that had every guest on their feet — was the first dance, performed with the extraordinary Urban Voices Collective. Jordan, a member of the award-winning dance group Diversity (winners of Britain’s Got Talent in 2009), brought an energy and rhythm to the celebration that was simply extraordinary to film. It was one of the most joyful and genuinely surprising first dances we have ever been part of — and the footage from that moment is consistently the one guests talk about longest.
