A vegan château wedding in France — intimate, sustainable, and completely beautiful. Emily and Pierre’s wedding at Château de la Beuvrière is one of the most heartfelt celebrations we have ever had the privilege of filming. As France wedding videographers, this day reminded us of something we return to again and again: the most moving wedding films are not about grandeur. They are about authenticity, connection, and two people who are completely themselves throughout every moment of their day.
Emily and Pierre were exactly that — relaxed, warm, deeply in love, and entirely at ease in the extraordinary French countryside around them. The result is a film we are genuinely proud of.

Château de la Beuvrière — The Venue
Château de la Beuvrière is a privately owned French château set in lush, peaceful countryside — completely untouched and deeply organic in character. When we arrived to scout the location for the first time, we were immediately captivated. The vast open grounds needed almost no decoration — the landscape provided everything.

There is something about the French countryside — particularly at a venue like this — that makes everything feel slower, more present, and more real. Emily and Pierre understood that instinctively, and they built their entire wedding around it.
Emily & Pierre’s Vision — A Conscious, Organic Celebration
From the very first email, we knew this wedding would be something we would carry with us. Emily and Pierre envisioned a relaxed, nature-inspired day filled with love, authenticity, and a deep commitment to sustainability. Every decision they made reflected those values — from the 100% vegan menu to the organic décor, the wildflower arrangements, and the earthy, natural colour palette that ran through the entire weekend.
This was not a wedding that needed elaborate staging or dramatic flourishes. The château, the gardens, and the genuine warmth of the people celebrating filled every frame without anything more from us. Our job was simply to move quietly through the day and make sure nothing that mattered was missed.
The Ceremony — Vows That Echoed Through the Gardens
The ceremony took place in the grounds of the château — open sky, garden beauty, and the kind of stillness that only the French countryside can provide. Emily and Pierre’s vows were spoken from the heart, with total honesty and emotion, and they echoed through the garden in a way that brought everyone present to complete silence.
Every smile and every tear told its own story. Emily’s best friend broke down completely during her speech — a moment of pure, unguarded love that we captured and that has stayed with us long after the day ended. Pierre’s tender kiss under a sky filled with bubbles. The laughter between the couple as they looked at each other during the readings. These are the moments that a wedding film is made of — and they cannot be staged, directed, or manufactured. They simply have to be witnessed.

The Style — Gown, Suit & the Natural Palette of the Day
Emily wore a gown by Hayley Paige — effortlessly graceful, soft, and perfectly suited to the organic atmosphere of the day. The silhouette was romantic without being elaborate, and the quality of the fabric in the French countryside light was genuinely beautiful.
Pierre wore a soft off-white suit — a considered, understated choice that complemented Emily perfectly without competing with the natural setting around them. Guests dressed in light, earthy tones that harmonised with the landscape — whites, creams, and gentle greens that made the whole celebration feel visually cohesive and deeply intentional.
The florals by Chataigner Fleurs were wildflower-led and entirely in keeping with the organic vision of the day — loose, natural, abundant, and beautiful in the way that only flowers chosen for their character rather than their formality can be.

The Celebration — Alfresco Dining, Heartfelt Speeches & Dancing Under the Stars
The plant-based feast was created by Gentle Gourmet — one of France’s most respected vegan caterers, known for vibrant, flavourful dishes sourced from local organic farms. The alfresco dinner under the stars was everything a French countryside celebration should be: long tables, candles, the sound of the garden around them, and food that reflected the values of the couple who had chosen it.
The speeches were heartfelt and full of genuine emotion — the kind that comes from people who know and love a couple deeply, not from people performing for a crowd. We use radio microphones on every speaker as standard, ensuring every word was captured clearly and warmly regardless of the outdoor setting.
The dancing that followed was joyful and completely uninhibited — the kind of celebration that happens naturally when the right people are together in the right place, with nothing to prove and everything to enjoy. It was, from beginning to end, a day of pure authenticity.

Why We Loved Filming This Wedding
Emily and Pierre’s wedding reminded us why we started filming weddings in the first place. Not for grand venues or elaborate productions — but for moments of genuine human connection that deserve to be preserved properly and returned to for the rest of a lifetime.
The château, the organic grounds, the vegan feast, the wildflowers — all of it created a setting of real beauty. But it was Emily and Pierre themselves who made it extraordinary. Their ease with each other, their clarity about what mattered to them, and their total presence throughout every moment of the day produced footage that we believe will be just as moving in twenty years as it is today.
“We have watched the video several times now and cannot begin to tell you how absolutely in love we are with what you’ve done. Thank you so, so much.”
