Back in June 2019 beautiful bride and groom had their Lake Como wedding at the spectacular Villa Balbiano. Firstly when Charlotte their wedding planner contacted us and said she have the clients who want to get married in Villa Balbiano we immediately got super excited as this venue was on our bucket list for a long time.
Secondly groom Gylfi is a professional footballer for Premier League club Everton and Alexandra is a qualified nutritionist who runs a very successful Instagram account. They both deciding to have a destination wedding at Lake Como. Thirdly Alexandra wore a beautiful custom-made Galia Lahav dress, adorned with pearls and stunning floral details. Meanwhile, the groom wore a classic white tuxedo with a smooth black lapel by Thom Sweeney.
During Villa Balbiano wedding ceremony, their sweet dog Koby trotted down the aisle— the perfect little ring bearer (and a crowd favourite!).
We loved capturing the bride and groom as they glided across the lake in a modern motorboat. Wedding celebration was a weekend filled with Italian food, music, and breathtaking views. However we have not only filmed their wedding day, but also a relaxed rehearsal dinner the day before where guests & the couple enjoyed Italian oven-baked pizza and live music.
